What does this flag mean?

If you know what this is, you earn a cookie and my eternal respect.

P.S.-I will be surprised if your name is not Adrian, David, Matt, or Lucas.

Well, I have been excluded from the competition... but red and black are the colors of the University of Georgia - Go Bulldogs! As well as the colors of my dear alma mater, Haverford College - Go Fighting Quaker Robots!

Sorry to return to a late post, but isn't this also the anarco-syndicalist flag, or something like that? Or maybe the anarcho-syndicalist flag is the same pattern but reversed. I'm not sure. It's not often that anarcho-syndicalist armies march through central Pennsylvania.

yes sir, evan, you are correct. it's generally associated with the IWW, seeing as how that is the most famous syndicalist union.

and yes...central PA is not exactly a hotbed of syndicalism.

Actually anarcho-syndicalism has had a long history in Central Penn. The flag is actually more associated with the CNT during the Spanish Civil War. And my first name is Matt, middle name Adrian.
